The Gospel Choir at The Nash

The Gospel Choir at The Nash
Directed by Dr. Jason Thompson

The Gospel Choir at the Nash is a new opportunity to sing song forms like spirituals, gospel, and anthems and to connect with others without fear or judgment. This singing opportunity promises to be both fun, educational, and connective!!

The popularity of gospel music makes the genre appealing to study and perform. Amid this appeal are multiple reasons to participate in a gospel choir, including the cultural knowledge, the social connections, the spiritual affirmation, the recreational enjoyment, or even the musical opportunities (or any combination of these reasons).

This eight-week program meets on the following Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm:
October 3, 10, 24, 31
November 7, 14, 21
and a performance at 7:30 pm on December 5

Open to the community. Students younger than 14 years old must have an adult co-enrolled and present at all times. The Gospel Choir at The Nash is open to all community members regardless of their faith.

Full tuition: $100 (9 sessions)
