The Sunshine Ensemble will be releasing their new EP “La Madera” @ the Nash on 1/24! As Dave Sumner from Bandcamp Daily expressed, the Sunshine Ensemble “is as inviting as a warm smile”. The ensemble seeks to draw you in with “thick melodies a mile wide” (Sumner, Bandcamp Daily) while presenting a singular vision of Jazz, Americana, and Folk music. The ensemble can spark a shoe-stompin’, hoot-hollerin’ hootenanny one moment, then turn around to deliver a haunting horn chorale the next.
