We hope you can join us Saturday, April 29, for a celebration of the master, Duke Ellington’s birthday!
Vibraphonist Chuck Redd and his quartet will present a swinging evening of Ellington compositions which will include exciting up-tempo numbers as well as beautiful ballads and blues. Ellington and his composing partner Billy Strayhorn created music with magical qualities that create a myriad of moods from beautifully subtle and mysterious to raucous! The program will feature favorites including, Take The A Train, I Got It Bad, Satin Doll, Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me, A Flower is a Lovesome Thing, Angelica and Cottontail.
