Connor Sample is a drummer and composer based in Phoenix, Arizona. As a protege of drummers Lewis Nash and Dom Moio, he aims to push the boundaries of modern jazz drumming while remaining rooted in the style, feel, and legacy of the jazz greats. He has recorded and toured with a number of bands, including; Hyperbella, Los Esplifs, Palo Brea, Inkblot, Jerusafunk, and Sun Trio. Connor has also shared the stage with notable jazz artists such as Jazzmeia Horn, Michael Mayo, Adi Myerson, Corcoran Holt, David Ambrosio, Miki Yamanaka, George W. Russel Jr, Ashlyn Parker, Bryce Winston, Eric Rassmusen, and James Fernando.
