Bassist Ben Hedquist returns to The Nash to celebrate the recent release of his debut album “The Mists of Uncertainty.” Ben Hedquist and his quintet is comprised of some of the most sought-after musicians in the Valley’s creative music scene. This First Friday event will be high-energy, guitar-driven music, immersive soundscapes, and new arrangements of familiar music to The Nash for an experience that will surely move all listeners.

Since moving to Phoenix in 2012, Hedquist has become one of the Valley’s most in-demand bassists. He performs frequently with Phoenix-based musicians such as Michael Kocour, Jeff Libman, Eric Rasmussen, Keith Kelly, Adam Roberts, and Dom Moio. He has also performed with a growing number of jazz notables, including Joe Locke, Peter Bernstein, George Garzone, Miguel Zenon, Glenn Zaleski, John Hollenbeck, Chris Cheek, George Colligan, Ben Wendel, and Lewis Nash.
