Native Phoenix guitarist and composer John Meier has been making a name for himself as a creative force on the New York City jazz scene. Assembling a band of Phoenix’s finest musicians, he returns home to perform music by Thelonious Monk and original compositions to Nash. Using a combination of surprising and unique techniques, John seeks to deliver fresh and engaging interpretations of classic bebop compositions.

Come in to The Nash for a cold drink and some great jazz before tackling the rest of the First Friday attractions on Roosevelt Row.
