Mel Brown is a Grammy Award winning Bassist with over 1500 recordings to his credit. Brown’s resume includes many of the top Pop, Jazz, and R&B artists in the world, like George Benson, Dave Koz, Gladys Knight, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Hudson, Richard Elliot, Boney James, Eric Marienthal, and Chuck Loeb to name a few. Smooth Jazz is one of Mel’s passions and he recently celebrated being present on Billboard’s top 3 Smooth Jazz singles simultaneously. Mel Brown & Friends brings the best smooth jazz with sophisticated musicality and features some of the best musicians in Phoenix.
