Cory Weeds is a saxophonist with an expressive sound rooted in jazz tradition, as well as being a label owner with more than 160 CDs documenting unsung Jazz heroes, one of Canada’s most important Jazz impresarios, and a favorite at The Nash! This show features renowned pianist David Hazeltine, whose modern approach blends effortlessly with Weed’s classic tone. Coincidentally, their new CD, “Day By Day” on the Cellar Live label, was released this week!
