Steeped in the groove stomping tradition of her mentor Ray Brown, Korb departs with her own reflections of the Great American Songbook to tell stories in a warm, surprising, and approachable style. “Kristin Korb is a jewel of jewels. Teamed up with her co-conspirators Andy Langham (piano) and Duncan Moore (drums), Korb continues her pursuit of innovative mainstream jazz at its absolute best with compelling style and virtuosity.
