Known as the ‘High Priestest of Soul’, Nina Simone was the consummate musical storyteller who used her remarkable talent to create a legacy of liberation, empowerment, passion, and love through a magnificent body of works. Rosalyn McClore is a hidden treasure of an artist who possesses extraordinary depth as both a pianist and vocalist. This one-woman show is a compelling tribute to Miss Simone and a timely reminder of the racial injustice that informed her life and work.
These “OMT” shows will be streamed on Facebook in their entirety (minus the intermission) so that you can enjoy them along with others (virtually, of course) as if you were in the audience.
