Double-threat groove master Chuck Redd is a highly-regarded drummer and vibraphonist in jazz circles, thanks to his 15-year stint as a member of the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and his 19-year tenure with the late guitarist Charlie Byrd – not to mention his historic concert with the Dizzy Gillespie Quintet in Africa for the Namibian Independence Celebration.
These “OMT” shows will be streamed on Facebook in their entirety (minus the intermission) so that you can enjoy them along with others (virtually, of course) as if you were in the audience. You can comment interactively with other viewers and the musicians who are viewing the show.
