Sherry Roberson, a virtual Valley native, has a long history of club and concert performances, including nearly 2 decades with The Jazz Divas, as well as several stints overseas in Istanbul. Sherry’s style reflects the blues qualities of Billie Holiday, combined with a hard-swinging, freight train-like drive. Sherry has a propensity to “play with time” by moving phrases way ahead or behind the beat as the spirit moves her, which gives her spontaneous interpretations of The Great American Songbook special interest and character. Sherry is one of the Valley’s true musical treasures!

Dave Henning hails from Troy, Michigan and studied music on full scholarship at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music. Originally a trumpeter, Dave shifted to piano and spent his 20s as one of Cleveland’s busiest musicians, playing in jazz groups such as Miles Ahead. After moving to Phoenix in the late 90s, Dave became active and sought-after for his versatility as an accompanist and master of many musical genres including jazz, fusion, funk, Cuban salsa, and more.
