Native Phoenix guitarist and composer John Meier has been making a name for himself as a creative force on the New York City jazz scene. Assembling a band of Phoenix’s finest musicians, he returns home to bring the music of Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell to the Nash. Using a combination of surprising and unique techniques, John seeks to deliver fresh and engaging interpretations of classic bebop compositions.
