Join us for an evening of Big Band Music, featuring the Scottsdale Community College Big Band under the direction of Eric Rasmussen and the Chandler Gilbert Community College Little Big Band under the direction of Adam Roberts.

Join the ASU Jazz Repertory Band and ASU Jazz Combos for a great night of live jazz! The Jazz Repertory Band in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Music, Dance and Theatre offers exciting playing opportunities to students while providing a solid foundation of the musical styles associated with the jazz tradition.

The ASU Latin Jazz Band under the direction of Robby Carrillo performs both Afro-Cuban Latin-jazz and Brazilian jazz repertoire, with reverence to authentic elements of these rich musical traditions. Combos from the ASU Jazz Studies program will also perform. 

Jazz combos are the core of the ASU Jazz Studies program. These exciting small jazz groups allow students to showcase their improvisational skills in a variety of styles including bebop, fusion and avant-garde, while offering a creative outlet for student composers and arrangers. Come see the jazz stars of tomorrow today!
