Open to girls ages 10–22, the Nash Jazz DivAZ is a 14-week program that teaches well-known jazz tunes and encourages improvised solos to express individuality. During the program, beginner and intermediate musicians learn how to play together in a band. Classes meet and rehearse as a group. Each student receives an additional hour of instruction during the week with a professional instructor. The course culminates in a live performance at The Nash, open to the public.
