Arsen Nalbandian is a jazz pianist and composer who recently recorded – and is in the process of releasing – an album entitled “Old Horizons”, featuring 12 original compositions in a straight-ahead style. This performance will showcase the compositions from that album, featuring the exemplary talents of local jazz musicians that were hand-picked in order to create a strong group dynamic and fully propel this music to what it’s capable of. These compositions include a wide variety of styles from legendary artists such as Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Art Blakey, and many more.
