An evening of jazz presented by Bash High School's Jazz I & II bands, under the direction of Miles Denny and Shawn Schive.

From the mid-1970s through the early 90s, Francine reigned as the most popular jazz and blues vocalist in the Valley.  In fact, she was still winning New Times/Best of Phoenix awards  after she moved to Atlanta!  Francine appeared with her bands Jazz Alive and Fever at venues such as The Boojum Tree, Chuy’s and Chuy’s Next Door/The Night Club, Churchill’s Pub and Bombay Bicycle Club, plus numerous festivals and concert halls. She has been part of Lyle Lovett’s Large Band since the mid 80’s, appeared on The Tonight Show, and appeared for many seasons in Seattle’s high-energy dinner-theatre cabaret, Teatro ZinZanni.  What an…

An evening of jazz with the Phoenix College Combos and Big Band, under the direction of Mary Petrich.    

Rebecca De La Torre-vocals/piano/cuatro, Mahlon Hawk-bass/vocals, Josiel Perez-trumpet, Leslie Pozo-trombone, Joe Goglia-drums, Travis Rowland-percussion Vocalist, pianist, and cuatrista Rebecca De La Torre and her Latin/Americana/World band Bohemian Insurgence, return to The Nash March 10th. The night promises to feature fresh new latin-influenced interpretations of several jazz standards, as well as several Cuban & Argentinian classics translated poetically into English by Rebecca herself. In honor of National Women's History month,  We3 & Sheila Earley perform their "I'm A Woman" concert. Celebrating music inspired by women, along with music made popular by female artists and composers.  We3 performed their very first concert together on October 1, 2016, at the Nash in downtown Phoenix. An undeniable chemistry was recognized, and the group continued to perform sold out shows at the MIM and Phoenix Theatre along with recording their first full length CD, “We’ll Meet Again”.
