Beth Lederman is well-known for her sophisticated jazz and rhythmic Brazilian and Latin-jazz piano styles, not only in the Phoenix area, but throughout the Western U.S. from Canada to Mexico. She has been playing professionally for more than twenty years, leading her bands Jazz Con Alma and Nova Mundo. Her music is melodic, fun, fluid, passionate, innovative, heartfelt, rhythmic, eclectic, honest, artistic, humorous, spontaneous…and great!
Holly Pyle cut her teeth as an impressive straight-ahead jazz singer, Over time, Holly integrated a handful of other genres and is now best known as the vocal-looping front-woman of progressive soul outfit House of Stairs. Voted best vocalist of 2019 by Phoenix New Times, and now a resident of California, Holly returns for this special Mother’s Day performance celebrating female composers including Joni Mitchell, Marian McPartland, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Jessica Williams and Blossom Dearie.

Dinner selections: Lemon Herb Chicken, Boneless Braised Beef Shortrib, Baked Salmon with Caper Sauce, or Stuffed Portobello Mushroom; plus salad and 3-Layer Strawberry Shortcake.
