Australian-born vocalist/composer Biddy Healey presents a preview of her upcoming album, Salt River Bed, inspired by the heart-stopping and precarious beauty of the Sonoran desert. This original music for 9-piece band with horns, strings, and rhythm section, is Brazilian-inspired contemporary jazz, with nods to Jobim, Bjork, and the Great American Songbook. The preview of this album, recorded in 2019 Brooklyn, New York, will feature some of Phoenix’s finest musicians and is a show you won’t want to miss.
