Drummer Dom Moio is the “dean of the drums” in Arizona and is an instructor at Arizona State University (ASU). Starting his career in 1975, Dom has had the opportunity to play with jazz greats Don Doane, Clark Terry, Herb Pomeroy, Dave McKenna, and many others. This performance of “Dom and The Young Guys” will feature up and coming talents that Dom has been particularly impressed with and – as he likes to point out – their combined ages don’t quite add up to his own.

It is hoped that this will be the inaugural performance in an ongoing series showcasing the Young Lions of our local jazz scene.
