Josh Moore is the guitar department head at NAU, returning to The Nash for this special First Friday show. This show will feature some standards, some lesser-known jazz compositions, and a few of his originals. Come in to The Nash to meet Josh, have a cold drink and hear some great jazz before tackling the rest of the First Friday attractions on Roosevelt Row.

As a jazz guitarist, Josh Moore has played countless gigs with world class jazz musicians in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Buffalo, and Flagstaff areas. Josh studied jazz guitar with Bruce Forman and Frank Potenza at the University of Southern California. Also at USC, Josh studied jazz improv with the legendary saxophonist Bob Mintzer. Josh teaches courses for the Jazz Studies Program at the Northern Arizona University Kitt School of Music, where he also runs the guitar department. Josh can be seen in Flagstaff playing with the Josh Moore Trio with monthly gigs at Dark Sky Brewery, as well as Flagstaff Brewing Company.
