Get ready for an uplifting blend of jazz, blues, soul and gospel music as powerhouse vocalist Niki Haris takes the stage at The Nash. Niki is the daughter of legendary jazz pianist Gene Harris, and has emerged as a soul-stirring vocal force in her own right. Her vocal collaborations reads like a “Who’s Who” of the music business, from Ray Charles to Mick Jagger, Whitney Houston and Madonna, for whom she did choreography and sang background vocals.
Joining Niki will be pianist and arranger Mitch Forman, bassist Tom Kennedy and on drums, Lewis Nash. Haris, Kennedy and Nash have performed together frequently on The Jazz Cruise, and Forman was the arranger and pianist on Niki’s most recent recording, “Lift Thine Eyes”. So fasten your seatbelts ladies and gentlemen, here comes Niki Haris!
