GUITARIST and COMPOSER PAT METHENY has been a driving force in jazz for the last five decades. Incorporating progressive and contemporary jazz, Latin jazz and jazz fusion, his music is both diverse and often ground-breaking. He has three gold albums and 20 Grammy Awards and is the only musician to have won Grammys in 10 different categories. Recording with such great artists as Sonny Rollins, Dave Holland, Chick Corea, Gary Burton, Michael Brecker, Ornette Coleman and countless others has established him as one of the greatest guitarists of his generation. Performances of hundreds of his original pieces world-wide have delighted general audiences with their accessibility and uplifting quality.
