Stan Sorenson-guitar, Beth Lederman-keys, Mario Mendivil-bass, Buddy Banks-drums During his performances, Stan blends a variety of musical styles and songs with traditional jazz sounds. Cool, Be-bop, Latin, Rock, Reggae and today's Contemporary Jazz are combined to create his unique flavor. Stan's wide-ranging repertoire includes original compositions, jazz standards, and Django Reinhardt compositions, as well as drawing on modern classics by Sting/The Police, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Stone Temple Pilots and Green Day to name a few.

Nuance is: Devon Leal Bridgewater-trumpet/violin/cornet/flugelhorn, Dan Sieckman-guitar, Selwyn Reams-bass, Emerson Laffey-drums/congas and latin percussion, with Jackie Lopez-vocals   For this special return-engagement at The Nash, Nuance Jazz with Jackie Lopez will perform Latin favorites and exciting selections made famous by Selena, Celia Cruz, Dizzy Gillespie and La Plata Sextette.  Nuance has toured internationally and was named “Best Jazz Performers” by The Arizona Republic.  Jackie Lopez joined Nuance in 2019 and together they delight audiences by showcasing many improvisational styles and genres.

Sandra and her band celebrate Juneenth with a celebration of music that includes Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Blues and Motown.  This is truly a journey of the African American experience from Slavery to Present Day.  Told through songs, you will be uplifted and will walk away with a song in your heart!  Come out and celebrate with us! Join us for a lively evening of Latin Jazz and Salsa, blended with Mambo, Descarga, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Bolero and Samba.  Raúl Yáñez brings a rich musical background and experience to the stage.  He currently teaches at ASU in their School of Music, Dance & Theatre.  He has worked and recorded with other notable artists and groups such as Joey DeFrancesco and Jimmy Smith.  He was the composer of the first Concerto for Turntable and has toured with Sister Sledge, El Chicano and Esteban.

Red-hot jazz/gospel/rock drummer, Fred Boswell, Jr., takes over The Nash for a night of classic mainstream jazz, fusion, funk and soul with a lot of suprises built in. The core trio are life-long friends and brothers with a musical bond like no other!  Check out their new album, The Arcade Project, on all digital music platforms, and don't miss this special night of music at The Nash.

Brice Winston-sax, Joshua Moore-guitar, Chris Finet-bass, Arthur Vint-drums Josh Moore is the guitar department head at NAU, making his debut performance at The Nash. This show will feature some standards, some lesser-known jazz compositions, and a few of his originals. Come in and meet Josh at the first of what will surely be many performances here!
