This show will feature classic duets by Francine and Dennis, as well as solo segments by both artists. If you’ve been a fan of Francine’s !st Sunday Matinees, you’ll be treated to different songs from Francine’s vast repertoire with a different band as well. If you are new to Francine, you’ll be wowed by her amazing energy and showmanship that has taken her to to multiple appearances on the Tonight Show with Lyle Lovett’s Large Band with whom she performed regularly for nearly four decades, as well as many seasons in Seattle’s high-energy dinner-theatre cabaret, Teatro ZinZanni — not to mention unparalelled popularity in Phoenix as both a jazz and blues headliner from the mid-70s. Dennis Rowland was the vocalist with the original Count Basie Orchestra for the from 1977 to until the Count’s passing in 1983, after which Dennis has had an illustrious solo career that included tours in Russia and several albums as a Concord Jazz Recording Artist. Both Francine and Dennis are consummate, charismatic performers. Together: sparks will fly!
