Magos Herrera has been a guest professor for master classes, teaching residences and clinics around the world at Berklee College in Boston and Valencia, Spain, Berklee Latino in Colombia, New England Conservatory in Boston, Carnegie Hall Musical Exchange Program, Langnau Jazz Camp in Switzerland, Arizona State University, Central College in Pella, Iowa, Miami Dade College, Kuala Lumpur Music Academy, Hong Kong University, JazzUV in Xalapa, Mexico, Thailand Mahidol University, KPN Music Academy in Bangkok, Swarnabhoomy Academy of Music in Tamil Nadu and Global Music India in New Delhi, India, Fermatta Music Academy, Escuela Superior de Música and DIM Music School in Mexico City.

She is currently part of the faculty at Mannes Conservatory at New School in New York and since  2000 teaches vocal technique, improvisation, ear training, repertoire, songwriting and ensemble considerations privately and in music schools.
